How do I keep Typist in the dock?

Quit typist and then drag the Typist icon to the dock. Alternatively, you can control-click on typist while it's running and check "Keep in Dock".

Where is the Typist data stored?

Choose "Home" from the "Go" menu in the "Finder".
Double click "Documents".
The data is in this folder in a file named "Typist Data". Be sure to back this file up!

Why isn't Typist typing anything? I've entered items into the Contents field but still nothing types.

Be sure you Caps-Lock key is up and you're not holding down any other modifier keys like Shift, Control, Option or Command.
